COOLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Welcome to Year 6/7. 

 

Welcome to Year 6 and Year 7.  Miss Moffitt is our teacher and our classroom assistant is Mrs Lapham. There are 18 pupils in our classroom this year. 6 Year 6 pupils and 12 Year 7 pupils.   Although in a composite setting, we are looking as always to the Year 7s as our oldest and maturist students, to set the example for the rest of the school!

 

Our homework each night includes spellings, tables, reading and a written task. We ask that parents ensure homework is complete each night.   Each Friday we have a spellings and tables test which will be sent home on Fridays for parents to view.

 

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday so remember to come into school in your PE kit on these days. Whilst music tuition and drumming lessons are available for those who opt in, recorder will be held on Monday for everyone. Please remember to bring your recorder every Monday. 

 

Year 7 pupils also have the opportunity of enjoying Cooley’s senior common room and are able to avail of pool/snooker, table tennis, darts and table football.

 

This term we are learning about World War II.
