The school were successful in securing funding from Electrical Safety First and used it to hold a fire safety week in school. During the week, various activities were held including classroom based and home learning activities which all aimed to help deliver key messages regarding fire safety.
To help improve fire safety in the home, school families were offered the opportunity to exchange their deep fat fryer for a safer alternative - an air fryer..
