Our Nursery Unit is staffed by a qualified teacher and a Nursery Assistant. The facilities include an indoor play space, a quiet room and an outdoor play space. Activities are also delivered in the main hall within the school building which allows children to visit the main school and supports their transition from Nursery to Year 1.

The learning in the Unit follows the CCEA curricular guidance for pre-school education and offers a wide range of learning opportunities and activities, helping to build strong foundations for the next steps in their education journey.

Staff within the Unit cater for the needs of all children and recognise that each child is unique and should be valued for this.
