Year 5/6
A big welcome to all the pupils in Year 5/6 from your teachers. Mrs Cuthbertson will usually be teaching on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays while Mrs Brownlee will be teaching the remainder of the week. There are 15 pupils in our room this year.
We want to work very hard in class & achieve our best, but we also want to have fun too!
Our homework each night (Monday to Thursday) is spellings, tables/number facts, reading and usually a written task – we ask parents to please sign written homework. Remember we have a spelling and number test each Friday - tests will be sent home on Fridays for parents to view.
Our PE days are Mondays & Fridays so remember to come to school in your kit and bring a gum shield on those days. Recorder lessons are on a Monday, so please bring your recorder with you for this lesson. Also remember to bring a warm, waterproof coat every day.
Every day is a busy day in Year 5/6 with lots of active learning and teaching. We look forward to an exciting and interesting year ahead.
